The Cozy Expansion
Started with fence updates to update the fence look but also push the fence to the property boundary to make the back yard bigger. Steel raised planters line the perimeter of the property to give planting a head start on creating privacy from the neighboring properties. A deck with integrated bench and LED lighting help create a space that is both functional and inviting to the use. Native plantings and a water feature help soften up the space for relaxation.
Before
Yard seemed small and uninviting. Client wanted to create a space that was private and purposeful, yet a great space to relax and entertain.
After
Fabricated a series of raised planters around the yard that helped create some depth and height in what seemed to be a tight space. The fence was pushed out to the back of the property which gained enough real estate to be able to put a deck with built-in seating. A water feature and landscape lighting put the finishing touch on the back yard retreat that in the end felt bigger than ever before.
