Hill Country Haven
A Hill Country property located in Bee Caves, where we demoed an existing deck and installed a pool and new party deck. With help from the client who is a registered landscape architect, we designed a deck with integrated stone planters, pool with travertine coping, integrated benches, grill space, and a custom Corten water feature with fire element coming out of the water.
Before
An old dilapidated deck in need of repair was the start to this vision. Client wanted a space to host gatherings, relax and enjoy the sound of running water, while also offering a way to cool during Texas summers.
After
Pool becomes the focus of this back yard space but do not disregard the other features. The koi pond has a custom metal feature with a fire feature that comes out of the top at the touch of a button. The large party deck makes the area adequate to host events while enjoying the Texas sunsets. The space was carefully designed, with input from the client, to create little pockets of seating, raised planters to soften up the deck, and lighting to make this space feel like a resort at night. Clients favorite thing about this is the custom tile mosaic of the Texas wildflowers in bloom on the raised pool wall.
