Poolside Shaded Sanctuary
The back yard was in dire shape. We added privacy panels around the lot to help make the space private. A shade structure nestled off the pool helped create a space where people can be by the pool but out of the Texas sun. The existing faming on the covered porch was altered to remove posts and have a more open feel. Steel planters were added to push the contemporary vibe and the project is finished off with some artificial turf and gravel areas.
Before
Overrun back yard, needed a desperate facelift to be able to use the space. It was unlevel, overgrown, and simply unattractive. Needed a space that was easy to maintain and be something the client was proud to call their own when family and friends came over.
After
Elevated the space literally and figuratively. Old deck was replaced with concrete and raised the planters around the perimeter. A turfed area helped bring greenery to the space and an area to layout on hot summer days. Shade structure with fans helped offer a space to cool off during the sometimes long summer days. Landscape Lighting, a water feature and a custom privacy wall helped give this space a unique touch.
