Steel Steps & Stillness
Cut out hill side and install a series of raised steel retaining walls. Large artificial turf installation to reduce the need for watering. Lighting through, from path way lights, to up lights on the house and trees, as well as LED tape lighting to highlight steel planters and integrated step lights.
Before
Sloped and unusable space. Client wanted to gain a yard, as the terrain was not conducive for any activities in the previous state.
After
Create different terraces around the property to help level off the yard to make it friendly for activities while actively managing water from the house. Artificial turf made the large yard much easier to maintain, and provided a green look all year round. The use of metal planters and risers helped tie in the landscape to the extraordinary home built by Sendero Custom Homes.
